Alisa White helped choose our book for October, it's called Becky: The Life and Loves of Becky Thatcher, and it's written by Lenore Hart. Alisa said that it's about Becky from the Tom Sawyer novels, and there are bits and pieces of the other characters and storylines of Tom Sawyer in the book. She said it was light and fun, and nobody else had read it, so it should be good!
I believe that Alisa will be sending out the reminder for the next meeting, since she will be hosting it, so if you aren't on the email list just leave a comment and I will make sure you get added.
